The mission of Blind Faith is to help urban and inner-city girls see their potential, achieve their goals, and be of service to someone else. Our philosophy on the strength of character education and parental involvement is our platform for academic achievement and behavioural excellence. We seek to build upon these efforts by maintaining and fostering collaborative relationships between the family and the community.

The Vision

It is the vision that each student will gain the necessary skills to advance through middle school and high school. Our goal is that 100% of the 12th grade students will graduate from high school and be prepared for post-secondary education; and 85% of students actually pursue higher education.

Program Details

Its purpose is to offer supplemental after-school and summer enrichment programs for inner-city girls in grades 4-12, through character education, academic achievement, and service.

After School Program

First Session: August thru December

Second Session: January thru May

Tuesday and Thursday

4th - 8th Grades 5:30pm - 7:30pm

9th - 12th Grades 6:00pm - 8:00pm

The after school session includes the following:

• After-school one-on-one tutoring in the

following areas, for grades 4-12

º Oral Reading/Fluency

º Reading Comprehension

º Math Calculation
