Getting Involved with ELF

E’Ryn Leadership Foundation strives to ensure every young girl who crosses its path has a chance at success, by building programs which address the academic, emotional, and social needs of its participants. Parents are asked to pay a small percentage of the cost required to cover the program fee for ELF’s supplemental educational program.  The remaining costs are met by grants and donations from those who believe in the foundation’s mission objectives to increase educational performance, reduce behaviour infractions, and increase desirable lifestyles for those who participate in its programs.

Blind Faith is E’Ryn Leadership Foundation’s all girls Summer Enrichment and After-school program. This specific program relies heavily on tutors to work one-on-one with each student in the areas of Language Arts, Math, and Science. The After-school program is offered twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday), from the first Tuesday in September through the last Thursday in April. 4th- 8th grade tutoring is from 6-7:30pm; 9th-12th grade tutoring is from 6:30-8pm. It is expected that each tutor come the same day each week to work with one specific student for 1 ½ hours. Although not required, a tutor can select to come both days and commit to working with two (2) students (one on each day).
